UnitBox Play started as a shared chat between a few friends who kept sending each other tips for whatever game they were stuck on. At some point the notes got too big for a group thread, so we turned them into a proper site. Everything you read here comes from someone who actually installed the game and played it long enough to have an opinion.

We cover a bit of everything: role-playing games, strategy, racing, puzzles, quiet simulators. The only rule is that we have to spend real time with a title before writing about it. If a game bores us after two evenings, that shows up in the review too.

Games get picked in a simple way. Sometimes a reader suggests one, sometimes something is everywhere in the app charts and we want to know if it earns the attention. We don't take payment to feature a title, and we don't rank games higher because someone asked nicely.

The goal is small and honest: help you decide what to download and get you unstuck when a level fights back. That's it.
