Finding the fast lines in Nitro Crescent

Nitro Crescent looks like a game about going fast in a straight line, but it's really about corners. Once I stopped braking so hard and started drifting through turns, my lap times dropped noticeably.

Switch to the tap controls if you're chasing times. Tilt steering is fun and casual, but it's harder to hit a precise line when the track gets twisty. The tap option gave me the consistency I needed.

Every track hides at least one shortcut, usually behind a risky jump or a wall gap. They're worth learning even if you crash a few times finding them, because a clean shortcut run beats a perfect standard lap.

Don't spend everything on cosmetics. Put a bit into handling upgrades first; they make the drifts easier to control, and that's where the real time savings live.
