Strategy
Ironhold Command
★★★★☆ 4.4
Ironhold Command drops you on a contested map with a small outpost and a lot of decisions to make. You gather resources, expand your base, and defend against waves that get smarter as you grow. It's the kind of strategy game where a good defensive layout wins more battles than a big army.
The pacing is deliberate. Buildings take time, and you'll often plan your next few moves before a session ends. I appreciated that the game doesn't punish you for logging off; your defenses hold while you're away.
The learning curve is real, though. The first few missions feel simple, then the map opens up and you suddenly have five things to manage at once. Stick with it and it clicks.
